BLOGMAS DAY 16: Christmas Tag

I was tagged by Paige over at shebechic.wordpress.com for the Christmas Tag! Eee just 9 days to go until Christmas!

What’s your favourite Christmas film?
Elf. By a mile. Always has been. I love The Holiday and Love Actually but Elf is just brilliant, it's so funny and a real Christmas movie.
Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Not for more than about an hour before it raining and washing all the snow away.. or it being Ice as it'd snowed on the run up to Christmas.
Where do you usually spend you holiday?
With family - normally a few hours with Mum and a few hours with Dad. This year I'll be coming home Christmas Eve to Nottingham, seeing both families with Nick, then visiting Nick's family, he's coming home Xmas eve night as he's working Xmas day but I'll see both sets of my family again Xmas day then come home to Shrewsbury for when Nick finishes in the evening.
What is your favourite Christmas song?
The one song that comes on the radio and gets me feeling festive is All I Want For Christmas Is You but I love the charity singles like War Is Over and Feed the world.. and Wizzard's christmas song... any festive song I love tbh!
Do you open any Christmas presents on Christmas Eve?
Only if it's from family who I'm with Christmas eve and won't see on christmas day.
Can you name all Santa’s reindeer?
I took this from Paige and I like her answer... "Not without using Google".
What holiday traditions are you looking forward to?
This year is really different as last year was my first christmas away from Nottingham and my Mum came up but I'm working boxing day this year (*sad face*) so there's no point. I'm looking forward to it don't get me wrong, but not as much knowing I have to work so much this year. Plus Nick's working Christmas day so won't see him until late evening.
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake. I can't be dealing with it falling apart, I'd get sad when I had to throw it away after and a fake one is reusable.
What is your all time favourite Christmas food/sweet or treat?
Last year we had some AMAZING fudge from Selfridges and I've already brought some this year.. I had a bit the other night and reminds me of Christmas. The cinnamon biscuits you can get from the German Market are also a great food to make you think of christmas. I just LOVE a Christmas buffet though.
Do you like giving or receiving presents better?
Stealing Paige's answer.... This is a difficult question as I enjoy both. However I tend to put a lot of thought into presents so I do love watching people open their gifts and seeing their reactions.
What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
I've had some pretty great presents over the year.. but I always get excited about clothes and things I know I'll really love and use. I remember getting my first ever Jack Wills Hoodie about 6 years ago and that sticks out pretty well in my mind.
What would your dream place to visit for the holiday?
New York - it looks amazing and I think the atmosphere would be incredible.
Are you a pro present wrapper or d you fail miserably?
I LOVE wrapping.. I go all out and make sure I have super nice paper, bows, ribbons etc.
Most memorable holiday moment?
Spending Christmas with a huge family.. sounds odd now as it's all over but when my Mum was with her Ex, his family was huge and all so lovely, we used to go over for 3 or 4 days, spend it on our PJs, play games all week, have buffet's and food... especially when my Sister was still with us as she loved everyone so much! I do miss those days... strange I know.
What made you realise the truth about Santa?
I can't remember how old I was but I heard Mum and Dad carrying all the presents downstairs.
Do you make New Year’s resolutions? If so do you stick to them?
I never do as I don't stick to them but this year I'm starting two... to get back to/keep up the blogging game, and to pass all my exams and qualify as a professional MUA and go freelance!
What makes the holiday special for you?
In the run up it's all about the music, the tree and getting the house ready and making sure you get to see friends and family but the day itself is about seeing family and having way too much to eat and drink and staying in your PJs all day watching great TV.

I tag anyone - but make sure you send me links so I can be nosy ;)
